E-Science Deploys PocketWISE for Merchandisers at San Miguel Foods

In September 2010, San Miguel Foods decided to get the PocketWISE for Merchandisers solution of  eScience to capture in real-time the information coming from its modern trade and general trade accounts. The PocketWISE solution of eScience not only captured off-take, stock-out, and inventory details, but pricing and other market information as well.

 

As of January 2011, almost 80% of San Miguel Food’s merchandisers are enjoying the benefits of PocketWISE, with faster, accurate, and secure transfer of data. No more paper and encoding of forms are needed, since everything is now done electronically, and sent using wireless technology. Trade marketing and sales group of San Miguel now get daily accurate, and real-time information that helps them respond faster to customer requirements. It also helped reduce opportunity loses and increase sales.
