E-Science’s core competence revolves around three major areas:

Network and Systems Integration of telecom-related projects in either for telecom operators and/or key suppliers of telecom operators.  Examples of these projects include:

  • Collect service for a leading cellular operator where prepaid subscribers have the ability to send collect text or calls to other prepaid or postpaid subscribers
  • Loyalty service for prepaid subscribers or a leading cellular operator by giving rewards for continuous or cumulative top-ups
  • Electronic raffle promos for the acquisition, usage and loyalty of subscribers of a leading cellular operator where subscribers earn loyalty points for continuous usage during the promo period
  • An Offline Reporting Server Application which allows a leading cellular operator to extract information  about prepaid subscriber SMS and voice usage in a secure environment
  • Promo service for prepaid cellular voice usage
  • Various GPRS and SMS interface projects, raffle promos, etc.
  • E-Science also developed the prepaid platform that allows prepaid payments for the South Luzon Electronic Toll Collection System (E-Pass)
 
 
Mobile Corporate Solutions is the second major area of business for E-Science.  Here, the company provides corporate customers with client applications for their mobile devices (such as Nokia Symbian and Java Phones, Windows Mobile, etc.) which allows the sending and receiving of data from the field to their host systems like SAP, etc. E-Science is capable of developing client applications for Symbian phones, Windows Mobile, Blackberry, and other Java phone/mobile devices available in the market. 
 
These applications may be downloaded over the air via GPRS or sent via email.  E-Science has the distinction of having done the first SMS SAP integration in the world. E-Science also serves as Application Service Provider for corporate clients who have commissioned the company to launch corporate promotions involving SMS or POS systems.  Examples of this would be Mercury Drugs “TXT Milyon! Milyon!” promo using SMS and the soon to be launched promo of a leading pharmaceutical company involving 600 POS terminals.
